Europe Day Partyyy

To celebrate Europe Day and the historic Schuman Declaration, our Young European Diplomats enjoyed an action-packed, festive day in Athens! The celebration kicked off at the Europa Experience, where students explored the various festivities happening in the area, and then stepped into the shoes of politicians for a thrilling two-hour European Parliament simulation, actively experiencing the legislative process as MEPs. Afterwards, the group headed to the beautiful National Garden for a friendly, open-air picnic. Between enjoying pizza, snacks, and great networking, participants faced off in a highly competitive game of custom "European Taboo," testing their knowledge on EU-themed concepts like the Schengen area, Erasmus, and the Schuman Declaration! The gathering wrapped up on a sweet note with the cutting of a special EU-themed birthday cake to honour the 76th anniversary of the European Union, perfectly capturing the spirit of unity, youth empowerment, and community.
