The New Europe of Tomorrow

Hosted at the Europa Experience in Athens, "The New Europe of Tomorrow" event successfully bridged high-level EU institutional knowledge with the real-world experiences of today's youth. Organized by the Young European Diplomats in collaboration with ODETH and the European Parliament Liaison Office in Greece, the interactive session empowered students to dive deep into the EU's democratic framework and the core priorities of the EU Youth Strategy—exploring crucial topics like mental health, quality learning, and a sustainable green Europe. Beyond learning about the EU's enlargement process and the Eastern Partnership, participants took the floor in a dynamic, student-led discussion. They critically examined whether EU-funded programs truly offer equal opportunities for everyone and debated the practical realities of studying and working abroad. By giving young citizens a platform to express exactly what they would change if they had the power, the event transformed passive awareness into active civic engagement, wrapping up with a fun, interactive quiz to celebrate European collaboration!
