Young European Changemakers (YEC) Debating Event

On May 2nd, our Young European Diplomats hosted the "Young European Changemakers (YEC)" event, bringing together secondary school pupils and university scholars. The day kicked off with an interactive EU Enlargement Workshop, before transitioning into an informal discussion. Working in teams, participants sharpened their rhetorical skills by deconstructing complex federalist concepts, including the potential creation of a single European army. By tackling these high-level topics head-on, our students deepened their practical understanding of EU institutions and powerfully advocated for a model of European integration that prioritizes enriching the everyday citizen over the state!
